That sunburst looks awesome. The 'sun' beside it looks awesome beside it as well, I must admit. :p

Great picture, sweetheart. Hope you enjoyed the Chinese as much as you enjoyed the time with the half-chinese this morning.

(Double use of words with different meanings in the same comment? SNAP!)

Though all objects are of desire, not all things are attainable; desire will always exceed the power of attainment, hence all men are ill-content with what they possess and their present state leaves them dissatisfied. The vicissitudes of their fortune.
:iconrebel-with-applause:
this is a neat quote, here suntwentyone where is it from? (sorry I'm commenting on this when it's your pic, neonflamingo, but I really do like the angle and the light coming through the fence is cool:))

"How can you measure acting in inches?"
:iconsuntwentyone:
I'm taking you mean the quote underneath the double dash?

It's a shortened variant of Machiavelli's teachings, from one of his books, the Discourses on Livy.

Book 1, Ch. 37 Variant: Nature has so contrived that to men, though all things are objects of desire, not all things are attainable; so that desire always exceeds the power of attainment, with the result that men are ill-content with what they possess and their present state brings them little satisfaction. Hence arise the vicissitudes of their fortune.

I happen to like it.
